Playing with this product all afternoon trying it on everything a modeller would want to stick with it and
so far, this adhesive is great.
The black and clear are a rubber toughen line of glue, so they remain flexible and are more resistant to shock than standard CA glues.
The Powda and Wicking glue do a great job at filling. I sanded the hardened glue first with a course
sanding stick, then fine and then covered the area with a marker to see how smooth it would sand. Very smooth. I would tend to sand this once it has just hardened as an hour later this stuff is like stone. I was able to drill a hole through it with out any crumbling.
The Wicking formula is like a super low viscosity CA and works the same way that thin liquid cement
does by capillary action.
There is also the Kicka-Pen which is used as a conditioner/cleaner for the area that the glue will stick to. I tried
both with and without conditioning and found that the conditioner gives that extra bit help especially
when working with PE.
The instant glues themselves, thick-medium-low viscosity, all work excellent and create a very strong bond.
The plastic of the bottles doesn't seem to allow the CA to stick to the outside of the nozzle. This is a problem that I find with other CA glue bottles and to have a nozzle that does not accumulate hardened glue is a blessing. Quick wipe of excess glue with the paper towel and all is good to go.
Overall, I'm very happy with these and they will be on my bench for more use in the coming weeks with a few models that have a great deal of PE to be added to. I was unable to try the Filla-Glu Undo, Low-Odour or the Dosing Tips since they were not included with the sample package but talking with a Staff member that had purchased the Undo said it works great.
A useful range of Cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesives for the modeller, with excellent bonding quality and non clogging nozzles.
